News Details
Every year in the last week of October, our inbox fills with the same message from buyers in the US and Europe: "We sold out earlier than planned — can you still get us stock before Black Friday and Christmas?"
The honest answer depends on three things: whether the style is already in stock or still needs production, which shipping mode you can accept, and how fast you can approve packaging. Below is exactly what is still realistic for the 2026 holiday season, based on our current production schedule at RICHSTAR and the transit times we are seeing on major lanes to North America and Europe.
The 2026 Holiday Cut-Off Schedule
These are the latest order-confirmation dates we can accept and still deliver in time for the peak selling window. They assume packaging artwork is approved at the moment of order confirmation — every day of artwork delay moves the date.
Cut-off dates assume confirmed deposit, frozen artwork and booked QC window at the time of order confirmation.

What Is Realistically Restockable Right Now
Tier 1 — In stock or semi-finished, ships in 7–10 days
These are the fastest routes because the tooling and materials are already in place:
- Acetate and acrylic claw clips — our most repeatable styles, including the rectangle and French twist shapes that carried autumn sales.
- Coquette bows and luxe hair embellishments — bow clips, ribbon scrunchies and pearl-accent pieces that peaked this season.
- Waterproof stainless steel jewelry — bracelets, anklets and necklaces that need no plating lead time, so quality checks are quick.
- Holiday hair accessories — Christmas headbands, festive clips and seasonal scrunchies already in the seasonal program.
- Children's hair accessories — sequin bow sets and elastic sets that sell in multi-packs at retail.
Tier 2 — Needs light production, ships in 15–20 days
- Custom colorways on existing molds (color masterbatch change only).
- Gift-box and blister packaging changes on stock items.
- Mixed cartons built from several stock SKUs to hit a retail assortment plan.
- Bag charms, keychains and car ornaments that combine stock components with new assembly.
Tier 3 — Too late for Christmas 2026
- Any new mold or new tooling development.
- Full OEM production runs above 10,000 units per style.
- Items requiring new material certification for a specific market.
- Large-volume sea freight orders expecting December arrival.
Three Ways to Cover a Stockout Without Waiting for Production
How to Lock Your Slot This Week
- Confirm the style list and quantity — we hold production slots, not intentions.
- Approve packaging artwork on the same day; artwork is the single biggest cause of missed cut-offs.
- Send the deposit so material can be released from stock immediately.
- Book your QC window at the same time as your order, not after production.

If you are already working from our Christmas hair accessories catalog or the 2026/2027 holiday sourcing guide, most of the styles in those collections are still available under Tier 1 and Tier 2 above.
Bottom Line
Christmas is not lost — but the window is measured in days, not weeks. Stock and semi-finished items can still reach US and European shelves before the peak if the order is confirmed and the artwork approved this week. Anything requiring new tooling is now a 2027 spring program.
Send us your short list and destination port, and we will come back within 24 hours with a confirmed ship date, the freight option that fits, and a per-unit landed cost.
